BENJAMIN BRENT, farmer; P. 0. Kilbourne; born in Yorkshire, England; son of Robert Brent; they emigrated to this State in 1866; and, in his 20th year, set out for himself and began work on a farm by the month. Nov. 9, 1872, he was united in matrimony with Caroline Pulling; born in this county Feb. 19, 1850; daughter of Charles Pulling, a native of England; one child has been born to them—Robert, born Aug. 1, 1873. Mr. Brent has begun life with a determination to make something of himself, is hard-working and attentive to his business.
